The Middle East is a globally significant producer of oil and natural gas, and remote sensing satellites play a critical role in their exploration, development, and management. High-resolution satellite imagery enables precise monitoring and assessment of oil and gas fields, improving resource recovery rates. Furthermore, this technology offers promising applications across various domains, including: exploring potential oil and gas reserves; monitoring the safety of oil and gas pipelines; conducting environmental impact assessments in extraction areas; detecting leaks using infrared sensing; and supporting development planning for hydrocarbon fields.
