(as "SinoSky Starlight") is a commercial satellite company established by WF Group, and top aerospace scientists from the mainland, as well as powerful capital investment institutions and scientific research institutions. Our core business focuses on satellite research and development, production, sales, and operation services.
SinoSky Starlight boasts a strong technical team and strategic partners in Chinese Mainland. It serves as the cradle of China's meteorological satellites and the primary development base for a series of satellites dedicated to Earth remote sensing, space monitoring, and deep space exploration. With robust capabilities in the development of meteorological, scientific experiment, microwave remote sensing, and electronic satellites, it has played an active role in China's scientific experiments, land resource surveys, crop yield estimation, and disaster prevention and mitigation. Notably, its meteorological satellites have facilitated significant breakthroughs in medium- and long-term, multi-faceted meteorological observation, forecasting, and research in China. This has also enabled China to become one of the few countries capable of simultaneously developing, launching, and managing geostationary and polar orbiting meteorological satellites, thereby forming a meteorological monitoring and application system.
Over the past decade, we and our partners have successfully developed and launched 4 meteorological satellites, 3 space environment exploration and technology experiment satellites, 1 science and technology experiment satellite, and 3 remote sensing satellites, achieving a 100% success rate. In the field of microwave remote sensing commercial satellites, our company possesses extensive experience. Currently, our satellites in orbit feature multi-frequency bands, multi-modes, and multi-polarization, and possess internationally advanced capabilities such as high-resolution Earth observation, high-precision surface deformation measurement, and high-standard topographic mapping.
